This page says who you are dealing with, what you get when you buy, and what the site collects. It is written to be read, not skimmed. Last revised 27 September 2026.

Who Bindler is

Bindler is the trading name used by Neil Sangwaiya, an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is not a licensed adviser of any kind. Every product is a tool that does arithmetic on your own inputs or summarises a public source with a citation; nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, investment or procurement advice, and you should not treat it as such. Where a workbook or page names a regulation, the regulation controls.

Who sells to you

Every purchase is made through Gumroad, Inc., which is the merchant of record: Gumroad takes your payment, issues the receipt, charges and remits VAT or sales tax where it applies, and holds your payment details. Bindler never sees your card. Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase itself: gumroad.com/terms and gumroad.com/privacy. The same is true of the other marketplaces Bindler lists on (Flevy, Eloquens, eFinancialModels, Apify, Leanpub), each under its own terms.

What you get when you buy a file

A licence, not the copyright. Each workbook, deck, dataset or template carries the licence named on its page:

• Single user: one person, any number of files or engagements.
• Team licence: up to ten users in one organisation.
• Consultancy licence: use with your own clients as part of your work for them.
• White-label licence: the terms in the licence document attached to that listing.

None of them permits reselling, listing or giving away the file, or a close derivative of it, as a template or product anywhere. Memberships (the weekly watches, the Library, Regulatory Watch) are licensed to the subscriber for the period paid and stop when the subscription stops.

Refunds

The refund period is stated on each Gumroad product page and handled by Gumroad. Where a page says no refund after delivery (the white-label licence once the brand-free copy has been sent), that is the term. If a file does not open or a formula is wrong, write first: it will be fixed or refunded.

Accuracy, and the limit of it

Every figure on the site and in the files is cited to its source and every workbook is recalculated with a formula engine and matched against a worked example or a replica before listing. That is the whole of the warranty. Regulations change; a workbook reflects the rule on the date shown on its page. Bindler is not liable for decisions taken on a tool's output, on your inputs, or on changes you make after delivery, and its liability for any purchase is limited to the price paid for it.

What the site collects

• No cookies set by Bindler, no accounts, no tracking pixels. The site is static pages.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, injected by the host at the edge, counts page views without cookies and without storing personal data (see cloudflare.com/web-analytics). Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps ordinary request logs for security.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends its request (including your IP address) to Google when a page loads, under Google's privacy policy.
• The email box on the site posts your address to Gumroad's follow form; Gumroad stores it and sends the updates. Unsubscribe from any email.
• Free tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to Bindler. The EU AI Act classifier's paid key is checked against Gumroad's licence service when you enter it; the key is the only thing sent.
• The API logs the key used, the endpoint and the time, for rate limiting and billing, and nothing else about the request body beyond what the endpoint returns.
• Email you send to [email protected] is kept in that mailbox, on Google's servers, to answer you.

No personal data is sold or shared with anyone for advertising. To see or delete what Bindler holds about you (an email address, correspondence), write to [email protected].

Outreach email

Bindler writes to firms whose addresses are published for business contact (public registers, firm websites, professional directories), about products relevant to the firm's work, with a plain reply-to. One reply saying stop ends it; the address is recorded so it is not written to again.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes about a purchase go first to Gumroad's process, then to the courts of Dubai.
