Banks, asset managers and insurers report financed emissions to the PCAF Global GHG Accounting and Reporting Standard for the Financial Industry. This workbook applies Part A (Financed Emissions, 3rd edition, 2025) position by position.
- Portfolio register for up to 100 positions across eight asset classes: listed equity, corporate bonds, business loans, unlisted equity, project finance, commercial real estate, mortgages, motor vehicle loans.
- The right denominator, automatically. EVIC for listed equity and bonds, total equity plus debt for loans and unlisted equity, project equity plus debt for project finance, property value at origination for real estate. EVIC defined exactly as the Standard defines it.
- Attribution factor = outstanding ÷ denominator, capped at 1. Financed Scope 1+2 and Scope 3 computed per position and in total.
- PCAF data quality options 1a to 3c mapped to scores 1 to 5 from the Standard's own table, with the exposure-weighted portfolio score the Standard asks you to disclose.
- Summary: absolute financed emissions, economic intensity per million invested, breakdown by asset class, chart.
